When complete, the luxury apartment tower SkyHouse Raleigh will have 320 residential units with 5,533 sq. ft. of retail space and will top out at 23 stories.

Raleigh is a 21st century city of innovation focusing on environmental, cultural and economic stability. In recent years, the Raleigh City Council has worked hard to implement changes that will promote economic development. In 2012, the city hired its first ever Innovation and Entrepreneurship Manager, Derrick Minor. Economic Development Manager James Sauls came onboard in 2013 to provide leadership and direction for a comprehensive approach to economic development in Raleigh. During a retreat in January 2014, the Raleigh City Council took the first steps in a strategic planning process by identifying several strategic focus areas, including transportation and transit, and economic development and innovation.
